The Studio Boa family story, all began with a shack on raw land in the middle of nowhere in what friends called a “scruffy piece of wilderness”. Homesteaded with no electricity, just a desire to live in nature and raise a family. This is where Studio Boa cut our teeth, built our first strawbale structure in 1996, and kept going from there. This project birthed Boa as it is today, founding principles of regenerative architecture, permaculture, re-use, upcycle; it’s all there.
